Raluca Leibowitz

Raluca Leibowitz is a seasoned Human Resources and Hospitality Executive with more than three decades of leadership experience across luxury hotels, resort operations, and multi-property hospitality organizations in the United States and internationally. Known for her strategic approach to human capital management and organizational culture, she has built and led high-performing teams while supporting the operational and financial success of complex hospitality businesses.


Throughout her career, Ms. Leibowitz has held senior leadership roles including Director of Human Resources, Area Director of Human Resources, Corporate Vice President of Human Resources, Hotel Manager, and General Manager. Her experience spans prominent hospitality brands and independent luxury properties, where she has been responsible for workforce strategy, executive recruitment, employee relations, leadership development, compliance, and organizational transformation.

 

Currently serving as Director of Human Resources for the Lorenzo Hotel in Dallas, Ms. Leibowitz played a key role in the opening of the independent downtown property, building the entire HR infrastructure from the ground up. Her responsibilities include strategic talent acquisition, workforce planning, policy development, training, payroll oversight, and compliance programs designed to support operational excellence and employee engagement.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Leibowitz served as Corporate Vice President of Human Resources for the Melrose Hotel Company, where she directed human resources strategy for a portfolio of luxury hotels in Dallas, Washington D.C., Columbus, and New York. During her tenure, she successfully led executive recruiting initiatives, implemented companywide HR policies and procedures, managed benefits strategy for more than 900 employees, and guided the integration of newly acquired properties while maintaining exceptional staff retention.


In addition to her extensive HR leadership, Ms. Leibowitz brings significant operational expertise. As General Manager of Grove Isle Resort & Club in Miami and Hotel Manager at the renowned Hotel ZaZa in Dallas, she led executive teams in developing distinctive guest experiences, improving operational performance, and exceeding financial objectives.
Her career also includes leadership roles with respected hospitality organizations such as Omni Hotels, Marriott, Renaissance Hotels, Magnolia Hotels, Four Seasons Resort & Club, and Gemstone Resorts International. She is recognized for her ability to align human capital strategies with business goals, strengthen organizational culture, and support sustainable growth.


Ms. Leibowitz is fluent in English, French, Italian, and Romanian, with conversational Spanish, enabling her to work effectively in diverse and international environments.
She completed her hospitality education at the Hotel Business School “Dvir” affiliated with the Dan Hotels chain in Haifa, Israel, and holds professional certifications including Zenger-Miller Management Training Instructor and Talent+ Interview Certification. She has also completed leadership programs including The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and First Things First, as well as advanced studies in Texas Labor Law.


In December 2024, Ms. Leibowitz earned her Life Coach Certification, expanding her work into executive coaching, leadership development, and personal growth mentorship for professionals and emerging leaders.
